Guessing game

It's small, cute and sometimes annoying...
Life with three kids is busy. Not as insanely busy as I imagined, but juggling between the two biggies while feeding, changing and settling the baby is time consuming. Not much time for anything else. Thankfully the bub is a laid-back little guy, cause his sisters are high maintenance.

Getting the girls ready in the morning is a constant push. A lot of 'C'mon, c'mons'. Lil-lil has always had this habit of creating every request into a guessing game and now Goosey has picked up on it too. This can be particularly frustrating when you're trying to get out the door.

It goes something like this...

"Mum, I'm hungry."

"What would you like to eat?"

"I'd like something squishy."

"Bread?"

"No, something little and in the cupboard."

"What? Can't you just tell me?"

"It's something in a green packet."

"Sultanas??!!"

"Yes!  You got it!"

This goes on for everything. What clothes they want to wear, toys they want to play with, everything.
To say it drives me mad is an understatement. I thought it would wear off after a while, but it's been going on for at least a year.

  1. I seriously don't know how you do it!

I barely keep up with 1, (I know right, how pampered of me).

    Hats off to you sister!

  2. I know exactly how you feel. The most frustrating thing is they know exactly what they want and you have no clue.
    Breathe!
It's also like when they say "tell me what you just said" and you have no idea what you actually just said less than a minute ago! Or is that just me??

  4. Hee hee.
I'm giggling because it's not my child - or sultanas!
I only have one and I'm sick of hearing "Muuum, I hung-eee" on repeat and then all my suggestions being rejected!
You have the patience of a saint.

  5. The guessing game sounds as frustrating as "How was your day at school today Sweetie?"
"Fine except the lunch you made me that was disgusting.I traded it away."
So sweet I can hardly stand it.
