Friday fun - Octonauts giveaway

Ahhh it's Friday! Yes!

That means it's time to announce the winner of the Jane Iredale make-up:

Permanently 23, you've won! Congrats! Please email me your details.

This weekend, I'm looking forward to a lovely catch-up with a friend I haven't seen for yonks. I'm also looking forward to possibly catching a movie by myself on Sunday (thanks, Skip!). I'm not-so-much looking forward to helping out at the preschool yard sale tomorrow morning, but oh well.

Speaking of preschool, all the kids at Goosey's school are Octonauts obsessed. Every time I go in there they're playing some Octonauts game, running about pretending to be Captain Barnacles and Shellington Sea Otter. These cute little critters adventuring through the sea have really captured their imagination. So today, I'm giving away copies of the latest Octonauts DVD (Octonauts Ready for Action) to FIVE lucky readers.

To win a copy and be a superstar in your little person's life, comment below and tell me what your (or your little person's) favourite imaginary game was/is.

Entries close 11.59pm Thursday March 29, 2012. Open to Aussie residents only.

  1. My kids love the Octonauts!!! Their favourite current game is playing secret spy agents. It involves lots of running around the house and hiding, wearing goggles and using lego as guns.

The best thing is, it keeps my kids (7, 4 and nearly 2) ALL entertained! Score!

  3. So that's why those little critters are. I saw them splashed all over some clothes in Target yesterday and couldn't for the life of me work out what they were. Cute! I'm catching up with a good friend tonight also, I tell you, these are the sanity saving moments Corinne, because after a loooooong day with the boys while Scott has been at golf today, my sanity is hanging on by a thread. Enjoy! xoxo

  4. Steve Irwin was such an inspiration in our household. We had a team of Backyard Eco Warriors that would have made him proud. We miss him.

  5. My imaginery game when I was growing up was entertainer. I used to make up dance routines with my friends, or make up acception speeches for music awards, and pretend to be whoever was cool in the music scene at the time.

  6. The Big Girl's fave imaginary game is playing with an imaginary friend - usually with a very frou frou name like Arabella. The Little Guy's is pretending to be Dave Grohl in the Foo Fighters singing 'These days', complete with air punches! So cute.

  7. Oooooooh! Wombat Will is playing Octonauts nonstop! Everytime my husband comes home he gets "Hi Peso!" - and Will swaps between being Barnacles and Kwazi. His other favourite game is the same as mine when I was little, shops or restaurants! What a fantastic prize!

  8. we have a whole draw full of characters, mostly collected from maccas, but regardless my son likes to get one and carry it everywhere and when we try to talk to him we always get in trouble for wrecking the movie. he runs movies through his head all the time. I'm grateful he has an imagination.

  9. I'm not from Australia so officially out of this contest, but just wanted to say that it's the same with my son and his friends. He's all about the Octonauts right now. I have been occasionally told to participate in a Totem Pole -- not an easy feat!
